For the first time since last fall I will be joined by the lovely TARA SITSER on vocals. This is my first time (officially) at this venue, and as with all first time gigs, I NEED your support! Yes, it's a school night, but it's early. 7:00 pm. I will be followed by NORMANDIE WILSON, NICOLE DAVIS, and THE MIGHT REGIS. A full evening of fine musical entertainment for those of you who can stay, and a mere $5.00 gets you in for ALL of it. (If you tell 'em you came to see me, John M, a few pennies of that $5.00 actually comes to ME!) Come on out and help me rock my debut at the Talking Stick. This is another "Two Johns, No Waiting" night w/ John Zipperer and friends. The two of us will share the whole evening, so we get to play long sets. :-) This is one of our favorite places to play. It's always great here. Good music, good people, good food, free admission, free parking... what's not to like?
SUNDAY, Nov. 15th, at 2:00 in the afternoon: John M will join other "Folk Alliance Far West" performers and friends for an afternoon of music at The Church In Ocean Park, located at 235 Hill ST, in Santa Monica, just a block off Main St. Also on the bill: Lisa Nemzo, "Strings of Hope," and others. Once again, admission is free. (Donations accepted, but not required.) Yes, it's in a church, and yes, it's on a Sunday, but it's not a religeous thing. Just a Sunday afternoon concert, and good music! C'mon out.
